Movie Shaker Splits Captured Files |

I have a DCR-IP220 when I capture using movie shaker it splits files to small files .
What is problem ? How can I disable it to capture files in actual size ? Any suggestion ? |

I really can't help but I think that is probably normal for computers using FAT32 hard drive software. I believe they were limited to 2 GB file sizes
which was about 9 minutes of digital video. The solution for most digital video capture for longer file captures was have NTFS hard drive formatting. I
never had Movie Shaker and I don't know if NTFS would allow it to capture more than 2 GB file sizes. If I remember correctly, Sony camcorders that had
model numbers starting with IP used some kind of proprietary Sony format with tiny tapes. Hopefully someone that had one can help you out. You might be
fighting a losing battle trying to get that camcorder to do what you want.

Thanks for suggestion . But :
It was working fine and capturing files in actual size . I didn't do anything wrong (I think !). When I used the scan option in Movie shaker to see the thumbnail of clips this happened . I don't think this cause that - anyhow it was only thing I did . Now it captures as I said any tape I use . |

Interesting! I don't have a clue what is causing this problem with Movieshaker. I have never used this program so I just don't know. I suppose
you could remove this program and then reload it if you have the recovery disc's? Hopefully someone else will chime in here and offer a suggestion?
