my computer has crashed its reads the error message "windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: windows
root\system32\hal.dll" the problem is i dont have a recovery cd and i cannot access the recovery program that is loaded on the hidden partition. i took my
computer the best buy and the geek squad told me that i will have to call sony for a recovery cd. well i called sony and they told me that they do not have
the recovery cd anymore and my only option was to send it in for repair... no thanks! is the anything i can do would there be any awesome people on these
forums that may have a recovery cd and would like to sell me a copy that will work with my model desktop the number on the back says pcv-2200 but from some
searches on the net i couldnt find much about this model and was lead to believe it might be a pcv-rs100 any help would be greatly appreciated.
