Hi,
My VGC-RC210G's video card has fried, and so I am replacing it. While I am in there I plan to add some RAM, and was hoping to upgrade the PSU.
Unfortunately, one of the cables from the current PSU travels to underneath the water-cooled heatsink on top of the CPU. I removed all the screws I could find, as well as any plastic clips holding the rig into place (if you look inside the 210G, it's the large black plastic structure next to the RAM cover), but it seemed stuck on something. I obviously didn't want to force it.
Has anyone every removed the cooler/heatsink on one of these machines? Could you provide some advice for me to move forward? I don't need to disassemble it fully, (if I don't need to), just enough to replace that power connector with the one from the new PSU.
Thanks.
Raza
