i have a VX89 with Windows XP Home OS. I want to format the HD and clean install my laptop with the XP Pro, but i don't really know how to clean install a laptop. I am not quite computer tech savvy, but I manage to do lots of things for desktop, such as build it from scratch, install memory, hard-drive, sound card, video card, and new fresh OS for desktop. For desktop, it's easy to do clean install since there aren't many specific function such as touchpad, the fn key that control volume, hard-drive etc, compare to laptop that has "proptiery ?" function, especially sony. i hope u know what i mean.
