My cable TV line is running into my video card, and I can see the video fine on my PC...
How do I run the audio out from my computer back into my TV?

You are better off just using good speakers on your computer. A lot of TV sets don't have line input jacks. The line in/out jacks on computer and TV sets don't tolerate cable lengths longer than 10' very well and you would probably have to make your own cables if going more than 10 feet and they would probably pick up hum and noise.
To me, it is not worth all the trouble involved unless your TV is within 6' of your computer? Dave |

Turns out Im actually not recieving ANY audio through my computer speakers (all audio works except gigapocket). Shouldnt it be recieving audio through my cable TV line? Or do I need to run audio wires out from my TV into the gigapocket card?
Also I cant figure out how to run the video out from my computer back into my TV. Looking at the instructions that came with the computer it says everything is an INPUT. So if you record programs with gigapocket you have to watch them on your computer? How can i get the sound/video running to my TV? LOL this is really frusterating because im usually pretty good with this stuff.... but gigapocket has me lost. |

You have an audio speaker out from your sound card and you have an optical audio out on the back of your VAIO, however as Dave pointed out, few TVs have audio input connections. Does yours?
Check the audio level of "Aux" in the Windows Master Volume window. (Double click on the speaker in the icon tray) This is the overriding volume control for GigaPocket. what kind of video card do you have? you may need to purchase a new video card with a tv out. i'm not familair with all that gigapocket shiat. but yea Raedon is good for upgrade and the 9800 is good for 9 years upgradability.
EDIT: did you check your sound settings? does the gigapockect have sound input settings? is it plugged into the right spot? check and make sure :P |
