The issue arises after a clean install with a retail windows xp installation and availabe sony shared libraries, utilities and hotkey software found on the net (older versions). 			<description><![CDATA[ Yes and No...<br><br>As a long time Sony owner, I know how they are about patches and updates...they just don't do them that often...you might see a few driver patches out there for things over time...video, modem, etc...and for certain hardware (like video drivers etc) you can frequently just use the OEM video drivers rather than Sony's...for example, I'm running Intel's 830MG video drivers on my R505, they work better, offer more functionality, etc and I haven't had any problems w/... ]]></description>
