I'm replacing the hard drive in my Vaio, but was advised by Sony that the reason this model had such a slow spinning drive (4200 rpm) was heat dispersion.
My original plan was to drop a 500 gb. 7200 rpm drive in. Has anyone had similar experiences in replacing thier drive only to find it caused heat issues?

shows up in the device manager as an Ethernet Controller with the yellow question mark. It says there is no driver so I have downloaded the driver from the
Sony site but still doesn't work. The wireless switch is on. Any help? NO problem with ethernet connection at all. And, yes, I know now I should have made
