GigaPocket - what happend to my sound?

Using GigaPocket, I can't hear the audio anymore. So much for watching live TV using GigaPocket
When I record from my Sony TV Tuner card using Nero Vision, I can hear the audio while recording if I check the "Enable capture device audio playback" box.
So, this sounds like a software config issue in GigaPocket.

(During playback of recordings, both recordings have audio)

GigaPocket Timer Recording - less than 4 minute notice

Sometimes I program a timer for a recording that is to start in less than 4 minutes.
GigaPocket (v5.5) won't allow that (it appears to need at least 5 minutes' advance notice for Timer recordings).

How do I reduce that 4 minutes down to 1 minute?

I have sony Vaio desk top windows XP I was checking emails sudden pop up messegs says Application Error (application failed to initialize properly 0x0coooooo5) and since then my screen blank nothing working I can see only my mouse nothing else not desktop icons even dosn't shut down I have to disconect the main power cable.and i turn On back I recive that massage agan and just I can see my mouse nothing else.

recover C drive, minus the recovery partition

I wish to recover the C drive, minus the huge amount of space currently occupied by the recovery data. I have created my 8 CDs. Has anyone successfully done this? If so, how should I go about this. I want to "lean down" my C drive because it will not defrag enough to do any good.

This Sony supplied app has quit working. I made system restore DVD's, but when I insert #1 it only offers the option of completely wiping off the HDD and re-installing everything. If I recall correctly, an earlier VAIO or two would let me selectively re-install individual applications. Is there no way to do this on this machine??

Poor Video Quality on Live TV

Hello,
I have a vaio RG44Z and the video quality has gone bad the past few months. The problem is not the signal, it is the MPEG compresser. The video stalls, pixlates, macroblocks or whatever you call it.
I think it was one of those automatic updates that messed things up. I could not find where to fix it. The settings is already set to the Best Quality in Recording Defaults in Media Center.

Does anybody have any idea what I can do?

Help on Click to DVD capture issue

I've been using Click To DVD for several years now and never had a probem. Today, I tried to upload some videos and it keeps on showing (Cannot Capture Because The Exteran Device Is Turned Off or The Device Is Not Connected To The Computer). It is turned on and it is connected to the computer. I was able to capture using Adobe Preimier 6.5 and Nero, but I live using CTD because it splits up all the scenes. Any help would be appreciated. My computer is a PCV-RZ22G.
