I have a stock 260DS (Win ME, 800+mhz, 127mb ram, 40gb internal hd w/ 2 partitions) and have tried both the Sony editing software as well as SonicFoundry Video Factory. I am able to capture just fine (the avi's play real nice) but I never have been able to complete a project. either the previews suck within the editting program or the renderings REALLY suck.
