I'm getting this message" Smart failure detected on hard drive...," "Backup data failure is imminent". My laptop model is PCG-FRV31. I heard this is not a real hard drive failure thru some google search. I reformatted the hard drive and still I'm getting the message. Now there is no OS loaded. Could someone please come up with ideas to fix this problem. Thank you in advance.

I am having problems with 2 of these when connected. Sometimes, monitors are blank when laptops are booted. Also, Ctrl, Alt, Del doesn't work sometimes. Nothing unusual is being done, just takes a number of boots to get the monitors working. Have selected both VGA only and VGA + LCD and both have problems getting monitor to work. Any ideas, or info that I can't get from Sony's VAIO site? Thanks in advance for your wisdom.
