GigaPocket - what happend to my sound?

Using GigaPocket, I can't hear the audio anymore. So much for watching live TV using GigaPocket
When I record from my Sony TV Tuner card using Nero Vision, I can hear the audio while recording if I check the "Enable capture device audio playback" box.
So, this sounds like a software config issue in GigaPocket.

(During playback of recordings, both recordings have audio)

GigaPocket Timer Recording - less than 4 minute notice

Sometimes I program a timer for a recording that is to start in less than 4 minutes.
GigaPocket (v5.5) won't allow that (it appears to need at least 5 minutes' advance notice for Timer recordings).

How do I reduce that 4 minutes down to 1 minute?

New case for VAIO PCV RS 720G

Thinking of getting a new case for my old Sony VAIO PCV-RS-720G.
Would like to have some removable hard drives bays, and at least 2 internal hard disks.
Plan to store a lot of multimedia content on this machine, and plan to continue using GigaPocket DVR to record movies.
Will be keeping XP Home (SP2/3)

Is there anything about the RS-720G motherboard, power supply, cards, connectors, etc. that would cause a problem in migrating to a new, bigger case with better...

I'm replacing the hard drive in my Vaio, but was advised by Sony that the reason this model had such a slow spinning drive (4200 rpm) was heat dispersion. My original plan was to drop a 500 gb. 7200 rpm drive in. Has anyone had similar experiences in replacing thier drive only to find it caused heat issues?

Wireless card inop after fresh XP install Vaio PCG-K33

Sony Vaio PCG-K33. I did an XP Home fresh install. Everything works fine except the internal wireless card. It is an Atheros LAN-Express AS IEEE card that shows up in the device manager as an Ethernet Controller with the yellow question mark. It says there is no driver so I have downloaded the driver from the Sony site but still doesn't work. The wireless switch is on. Any help? NO problem with ethernet connection at all. And, yes, I know now I should have made a recovery disc.

T150 Non Removable Memory

VGN-T150 - Does not pass POST or even get to it. I can get it to boot up by removing all power
and holding down the start button for 1 minute. After boot up it will run for up to 5 minutes usually ending with a stop message and shutdown. Stop message along the lines of *** Stop: 0XC0000008E Beginning memory dump. Sometimes with just a blackscreen shutdown.

I removed the keyboard, noted that there is no extra memory installed and that is as far as I got.

I bought a sony vaio FZ31Z about a year ago, and now I'm having some driverproblems after I installed Windows Vista.
I just got my Wireless driver to work again, but I can't change my screens brightness (because of the FN-key, don't have the nvidia control panel anymore, my pc can't find my webcam, etc...

I can change my music volume by using the fn+F2 key and most of my media keys work as well. So I think it's just a matter of finding the...

Another vista irritant. I imported a favorite screensaver and desktop theme from xp and tried to install. Unfortunately, the files were extracted to c\program files\plus\themes. I have never found that folder even with a search. Where in the world does vista hide the screensaver and desktop installation?

I appreciate any help with this.

VGN - FZ11S Nvida fault

So, iv'e had my vgn-fz11s for about 3 years, no problems, but about a month ago when starting the laptop up the screen goes weird colours and has lines of across etc. Anyway it boots to the bios load with the werid screen then blue screen on me. It then restarts and gives me the option of system recovery. If i choose system recovery the windows displays fine, without the weird colours as if normal?!?!
I thought this may be the nvdia card fault with many vaios but when...

How to forward email without all the previous addresses

I know this is probably too simple, but I would like to know if there is any way to forward an email without any of the previous address showing. I know that this can be done with cutting and pasting (which I do now), but is there an easier (and automatic) way to accomplish the same thing? My husband really wants to know.

The fan is frequently blowing loud. I was saving something to a USB drive and walked away from the computer. When I got back it was blowing as loud as a jet engine.

I contacted Sony customer support and they were no help.

I have recently bought a Samsung 2.5', 160GB HD on EBay as an replacement for the original mini Hard Drive of 12GB (or13GB, I don't remember) for my ten year old Sony Vaio PCG-F650. I have used Norton antivirus for years and was happy until they added so much unnecessary stuff. All I want is an antivirus which I can run at will (not all the time - it muddies things up). I use Zone Alarm which I really like and Spybot and Spysweeper very successfully. I do not run them together, but all are installed on my computer (Vista Home Premium 64 bit system). Any Norton which works on the machine won't work with Zone Alarm, and I am tired of trying to get compatibility....

No power for VAIO desktop

I have a Sony VAIO 8510GZ desktop PC. This afternoon I found it powered off, and now it will not power on -- no fans spinning or hard drives starting up. Nothing.
